Right from year 7 when Summer was on it's way and the oldest ones in school had left,
they all came back for one night to celebrate the ending of school life.
They all dressed up in fancy ball gowns and suites,
had the school all draped in black and silver materials
with a red carpet going down the middle for a few snaps
before going into the hall for a dance and to celebrate.
I used to look up at them all and think how wonderful they looked and how I couldn't wait for that to be my night.
And so it was, last Friday night I had my Prom and I must say it was one of the best nights of my life!
